How Do I Know Which WildStar Class is Best for Me?

Wildstar Online offers a host of differing classes to choose from. Among these classes, you are presented with the choice between a Warrior class, Esper, Spellslinger, Stalker, Medic, and even the dynamic Engineer class. What makes WildStar Online's class selection so special, when compared to numerous other MMORPGs of the the same genre, is that the class selection branches into much more than just a title of choice. It's these minute details that can make choosing between the strong selection of classes, all the more difficult. The key to finding one that fits you and your playing style, is to pick apart these differences, in order to zone in on what you would most favor as a playable perk.

When playing WildStar Online as a Warrior class, you will have the ability to play between 6 different character races, which are compatible with this particular class type. This excludes only two available races, which would not make the best fit for the Warrior class. If you like strong characters, who deal devastating blows with fierce, customized weaponry, then this may be the class for you. Many players who prefer the over-sized "tank" character tend to go for this class.

The Esper class is master of illusions and healing type magics. If you favor the healer role in a group of players, or simply enjoy the fact that you can heal yourself at an accelerated rate, then this might be more your cup of tea. Wielding the power of the mind, Espers conjure up lethal apparitions, not to mention they've mastered the ability to control extrasensory weaponry! This class is not to be mistaken for the Medic class, although they do have a few similarities. The Medic class is also one to take into account, if you are interested in support abilities over physical attack prowess.

Stalkers are best associated with thieves, ninjas, spies, and other stealth related classes that people are most familiar with. With the use of advanced sneaking skills, the Stalker class is a force to be reckoned with. They also boast quick reaction times, which is a perfect combination for silent, yet deadly kill streaks. Besides the Stalker class, you also have the possibility of the Engineer and Spellslinger classes. Both the Engineer and Spellslinger class have their own little tricks of the battling trade, both of which have the ability to perform support and deadly direct attack moves, when used correctly.

WildStar Guide to Classes

There are six classes in WildStar to choose from. Each class has a different playstyle and can perform two of the three possible trinity (DPS, healer, tank) roles. Here is a summary of all six classes as well as their roles and racial limitations:
